Microscopic Caenorhabditis elegans worms are known to jump onto winged insects, yet until now, how they were able to do so remained a mystery 🤔🪱⁠. ⁠ Researchers at Hiroshima University first began investigating this phenomenon after noticing the worms they cultivated often ended up on the lid of Petri dishes, by leaping from the floor of the dish to the ceiling 🧫⁠. ⁠ Now, the researchers have shown how these worms use the electric fields generated by bumblebees to 'jump' across these signific
