🙈 Since it apparently needs saying… yes - it’s a simulator, not a real horse It doesn’t move exactly like one - but that’s ok! It is an amazing training tool. In rising trot, the simulator doesn’t give you that natural lift from the hindquarters, so you can’t rely on the horse’s movement to do the work for you. You have to create and control the motion yourself and that’s where the real learning happens. It strips everything back to you: 👉How you move from your hips instead of tipping forward,

👉 This rider’s right ring finger wasn’t bending properly after an old injury. Without that flexion, the thumb and index finger were overworking, which lifted her right hand higher than the left. By re-training the ring finger to flex and support the rein, she could keep her wrist neutral, connect through the elbow – and ride with finer, more balanced contact. 👉 You don’t only ride with the ring finger on the rein (before anyone comments- it was just an exercise I did with the rider) but its fl
