Mboka Jo is the 51st gorilla born at the Cincinnati Zoo. From caring for our incredible gorilla troops to supporting field partners in the Democratic Republic of Congo, we’re working to protect endangered western lowland gorillas and their forest homes. By recycling cell phones and electronic waste, the Zoo helps reduce the demand for coltan — a mineral mined in gorilla habitats.
