We were able to spend some time recently with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nova Scotia Crisis Negotiation Team. They were spending the day in Tatamagouche, doing two training scenarios, using actors playing the roles of a person holding a person hostage and the hostage in a fabricated scenario. All actors are current or former employees of the RCMP and in fact one very convincing actor was retired Staff Sgt. Al Carroll, himself a long standing Crisis Negotiator. Staff Sergeant Royce MacR
