Amazon will cut about 14,000 corporate jobs as the online retail giant ramps up spending on artificial intelligence while cutting costs elsewhere.

Amazon .com shareholders will focus on the technology company’s forecasts for its Amazon Web Services business when it reports its earnings after the close on Thursday.
